Interactive demos give life to Quality of Light

at LIGHTFAIR international 2016

LIGHTFAIR International took place in San Diego, CA from April 26-28. Visitors were able to experience Quality of Light in a variety of interactive ways. They were able to (re)create, program and navigate with light through various demos throughout the booth, showing them how easily it is to:



The interactive demo walls were made possible by fixtures of Selux, LumenWerx, Pathway, Vode, Inter-Lux, Edison Price Lighting and USAI Lighting.

At the RouLED table visitors saw and learned about the effects of visible and non-visible flicker in LED lighting. Since flicker isn't something you want to take a gamble on.


How LED lighting enables Indoor Positioning services

At eldoLED's booth six open mesh Wi-Fi nodes were installed. With these Wi-Fi nodes we deployed LED lighting based on Indoor Positioning enabling mobile positioning along with real time and historic analytics at our booth.


By 'reading' active Wi-Fi devices the system provides valuable anonymous insight information, such as:


General information

23,098 of visitors are detected outside eldoLED´s booth. Giving us an indication of the number of visitors that could have seen our messaging and/or products and 41% actually entered our booth.


From the total number of visitors 5,851 turned out to be unique visitors, of which 80% was a first time visitor and 28% visited our booth multiple times during the LIGHTFAIR show.


Quality of visits
From the total number of visitors 33% visited our booth longer than 60 seconds.
